New Features
Wow! We have some new and wonderful features on our People with disability & SD Awareness board.
One of the features we have is a real time chat room. Although we do not have it on 24 / 7, we have set times.
Another feature is a news forum. This puts important information posted on top of each page but it’s not within the forum like global announcements. That makes it better as in separation of the two.
There is a news message one as well though isn’t on when the other feature is on. This would be to make an alert announcement for members.
They are continually working on other features including the toolbar for our board. This would be nice for those wanting a place to find everything and maybe we will have a radio feature on the toolbar as well.
There are some different styles if you do not care for the default style and new ones will be added too.

You also could make comments as well as give a rating vote. Hint Hint!! To do this you have to click on the link called Disability Forum. There you will see our forum and you could rate it. How nice is that! Humbling smile!!

Forum Outage again.
It appears on this date at 10:20am that our forum along with others from the same server is running slow again. Hopefully this will be fixed in the nearest future. Sorry for any inconvience but it’s out of my control. Sigh!!!!!

It appears that today at 9:30 am that pwdsdawareness as well as animalsspeak.org forum are extremely slow. Sorry for the inconvience it may cause and I am sure the techies will have it up and running very soon.
Meanwhile if you have any questions about either forum you may ask here and I will try my best to answer them in a quick fashion.

New Forum Has Been Borned
Hello everybody,
Two days ago I decided to make a new forum! It’s called People with Disabilities & Service Dog Awareness. http://pwdsdawareness.freeforums.org
There we have a chit chat board where we may talk about anything and everything including hobbies, pets, technical issues we may come across, etc.
But that’s not all we cannot forget our Service animals. Lots of information and chats there too. News and articles in which we learn about the different types of disabilities and how it may not only effect that individual but family members, friends and co workers as well.
So come on over, sit a spell and join in on the fun.

Forum Upgrade Completed
Guess What! You guessed it our forum has been upgrade, in which we’ve been impatiently waiting, is complete ! Finally! So far so good as things seems to be running much smoother then I would gather. Grins.There are some major differences you will notice right away, such as the new look of the forum. You are still able to change the board style to your liking though not all the styles have been installed there as of yet. You could find this feature when you log in and click on User Control Panel. Many features are within there for your personal settings so don’t forget to check it out.
You will also notice that the forums page isn’t as long as before. Most of the food boards are now in subforums so when you click on food (ie commercial) you will get those sub boards within making our front page much shorter. No more loooooong scrolling. lol. Isn’t that grand!!!
There are some things at this point in time that isn’t installed yet such as the portal though the techs are working on this particular mod it may come later this week or so. Our ranks images aren’t installed there either so you may notice that you only get (ie busy bee or new pup etc.) wording and not the icons that comes with that. This too down the road will be back installed. lol.
In the mean time if you had our forum bookmarked by using the portal URL you will need to change that to the index page which is still the same http://www.AnimalsSpeak.org ! If you had downloaded the toolbar just make sure you have this correct URL as it seems to work with some stuff. This too will be added in the future.

Forum Outage!
Hello Everybody,
Today our forum has been having some majour hiccups! As many of you may have notice that you haven’t been able to get to the home page or if your one of the lucky ones and have notice only that the loading times been like snail mail. LOL. Unfortunately these things happen from time to time with servers. Although the support staff at Free Forums been working hard in fixing the issue. They are also making preparations for their newest version that will be launching on or around July the seventh!
This maybe what is causing some outages on and off from now until then. Like anything nothing runs smoothly! lol. Please bare with them and us as we all await for the brand new version with excitement. grins. Members will automatically be moved over as well as all our postings. So no need to worry about having to rejoin the forum. Woooo Hoooo!
I have been working hard on their beta versions trying my best to learn all the ins and outs so everything will run smoothly or at least I’ll know what or where to go. Grins. No need to worry about adapting to any changes made for the new version, as the forum will function pretty much the same for our members
There will be a new look though! One of the majour changes will be instead of having to scroll forever to reach the bottom boards, they will be condensed into sub-boards. You will also be able to subscribe to either just a thread within the boards or the whole board itself if all things goes well. Grins. That would make things quite nice if you are interested in a category!
More features will come. Just keep checking in as I will put them up into our forum until we move on up! lol.
